Signs of a repair shop worth trusting, and how this one lines up

Free diagnostics before a quote
Offered. You find out what is wrong and what it costs before authorizing anything, which removes the pressure to say yes to an unknown bill.
A real storefront you can walk into
Yes - 403 E Arrow Hwy Suite 306, San Dimas. You hand the device to a person and can come back to the same counter.
Board-level repair capability
Microsoldering is offered in-house. This matters because it means the shop can attempt fixes rather than defaulting to “replace the whole device”, and because it takes real skill to do at all.
Breadth across brands and systems
Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and Acer, across Windows, macOS and mobile - not tied to one ecosystem.
Business as well as consumer work
Managed IT services for small and mid-size businesses run alongside walk-in repair. Businesses re-contract only when the support works.
A public, checkable review record
The Google Business Profile itself shows a 4.9 average across 46 ratings; 42 of those carry written text. Every review published here is reproduced verbatim from that profile with its date and its own permanent URL, so any line can be traced back to the source.

Came to Snaptech for repair/data recovery on a dead MacBook Air, Max advised me to buy an identical MacBook Air used, and have the internal storage transferred over, a solution that made sense financially and got my data back, as well as a working a machine.

I was very pleased with the service from Snap Tech. I panicked when my computer went down but when I found this company and called I was told to bring it right in and this was on a Sunday! I got my computer back the same day, all good to go. Thank you so very much! I know who I will call if I need help again.

I can't say enough good things about Max at SnapTech Repair in San Dimas

★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars · Source: Google · Reviewed: June 2026 · Service: Computer & Laptop Repair · Device: Gaming PC · Verified public review

I can't say enough good things about Max at SnapTech Repair in San Dimas. My PC had been giving me problems for weeks—it was running extremely slow, randomly freezing, and crashing when I tried to play certain games . I was worried I might need to replace the entire computer, but Max at SnapTech took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue and explain exactly what was going on.

From the moment I brought the computer in, his customer service was exceptional and outstanding . He’s very friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary upgrades or services, he focused on finding the most cost-effective solution to get my PC back up and running. He kept me informed throughout the repair process and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand.

The repair was completed faster than I expected, and when I got my computer back, it felt like a completely different machine. Everything is running smoothly, startup times are dramatically faster, programs open instantly, and I can finally play my games with no issues. It's obvious he takes pride in his work and pay attention to every detail.

What impressed me most was his honesty and transparency. In today's world, it's not always easy to find a repair shop you can trust, but MAX at SnapTech earned my confidence from start to finish. His pricing was fair, there were no hidden fees, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I’m coming back for him to work on my second PC.

If you're having issues with your desktop, gaming PC, laptop, or any other tech device, I highly recommend Max at SnapTech Repair in San Dimas. His expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. Thanks to Max, my PC is running better than it has in years. I will definitely be returning for any future computer repairs and will be recommending them to friends and family.

Is SnapTech Repair legit?

Yes. SnapTech Repair is a physical, walk-in repair storefront at 403 E Arrow Hwy Suite 306, San Dimas, CA 91773, staffed by CompTIA-certified technicians, reachable at (626) 838-2862, with a public Google Business Profile showing a 4.9 average across 46 ratings. It is not a mail-in-only or drop-shipping operation.

Is SnapTech Repair a real store you can walk into?

Yes - it is a suite-level storefront on E Arrow Hwy in San Dimas, open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Mondays. You can bring a device in without an appointment.

Should I use SnapTech Repair or the manufacturer?

Manufacturer service is the right call while a device is under warranty. An independent shop like SnapTech Repair is usually faster and cheaper out of warranty, and it will attempt board-level repairs - microsoldering, charge IC, backlight - that manufacturers handle by replacing the whole device.

Will SnapTech Repair quote me before doing the work?

Yes. Diagnostics are free, so you receive a quote and decide before any repair is authorized.

Can SnapTech Repair fix something another shop refused?

Often, yes. Microsoldering - component-level logic board repair - is one of its listed services, and it is the category most repair shops decline and send out.

Does SnapTech Repair handle business IT, not just walk-in repairs?

Yes. Alongside walk-in device repair it provides managed IT services for small and mid-size businesses, covering workstations, networks, backups and security.

How long does a repair take at SnapTech Repair?

Common repairs such as screens and batteries are often same-day when the part is in stock. Microsoldering and data recovery are inherently slower because they are diagnosed and worked at the component level.

How do I contact SnapTech Repair?

Call (626) 838-2862, or walk into 403 E Arrow Hwy Suite 306, San Dimas, CA 91773 between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday.
